-Students will be introduced to the three different types of natural resources: renewable, non-renewable and permanent resources.
-As a class, we will review the water cycle and see how pollution affects it and climate change.

-Students will be introduced to the difference that can be found amongst various physical regions.
-As a class, we will focus on Canada's ecozones.
-Together we will look at how some regions can be divided by strict borders, however, others are more gradually divided.
-Students will participate in creating a blueprint of their house to help understand HOW regions can be strictly or gradually defined.

-As a class, we will rotate through playing all games created by the class.
-Together we will discuss where and how Canada is divided into different regions.
-As a group, we will discuss how there are concrete borders and how some borders are transitional and can change from year to year.

-As a class, we will begin the next chapter in Geography: Interactions and the Environment.
-Together, we will discuss the characteristics of a natural environment and how impacts on one characteristic affects the rest.
-Finally, we will look at the different types of environments that exist and how their physical attributes affect the abiotic and biotic interactions within them.

-We will use the cereal boxes to complete one last latitude and longitude activity. In groups, students will work together to create a world wide trip where they must travel to 6 of the 7 continents and travel many countries.
