-Students will work on a reflection about their Biobottle. They will have two periods to work on this and it will be submitted for evaluation along with their observation chart and the Biobottle information page they were given at the beginning of the year.

-Students will continue using a program on the Chromebooks to help them understand how changes affect ecosystems.

-Together we will begin looking at 3 very important cycles of matter: the life cycle, the carbon cycle and the water cycle. They will have a handout to complete with respect to the three cycles.

-We will have a "wrap up" lesson where we will correct all remaining questions/work and finish all concepts for chapter 5.

-They will be working on a textbook review in class. Students should study the following.

-Students will have a science quiz on chapter 5 on next week Tues., Nov. 20th (7-05), Wed., Nov. 21st (7-07), Thurs., Nov. 22nd (7-06, 7-08).

-Students will work with Gizmos, a computer program, to help them understand how changes affect ecosystems.

-Students will look at food chains and food webs. They will try to figure out a food web based on information given (challenge activity).

-Students will participate in a game where we will look at all of the possible connections in one ecosystem. They will answer questions to demonstrate their understanding.

-Students will work on an assignment individually regarding what they learned at Baxter. This will be submitted for evaluation.

-Students will look at food chains and food webs. They will try to figure out a food web based on information given (challenge activity).

-In groups, students will begin creating their Biobottle. Students are working in groups and are responsible for all their own materials, nothing is provided by the school.

-We will begin talking about ecosystems and the necessities of life.

-Together we discussed biotic and abiotic factors as well as identified species, populations and communities.
